FEBRUARY MEETING MOVED TO FEBRUARY 10!!

The February meeting for the Hawley Township will be Tuesday, February 10th, due to Minnesota caucuses being help on February 3rd.

 A meeting of the Hawley Township Planning Commission will be held on Monday, 12 January 2026, 7 P.M., at the Hawley Senior Citizen’s, 405 6th Street. The commission will hear a request from owners, Stephen & Deborah Ekre and Asplin Excavating, operator, to establish a gravel mining operation at this location; NE1/2 & E ½ NW ¼ less N 16 acres, Section 32, Township 139, Range 45, Hawley Township. The Town board will be meeting with the Hawley City Council about the City of Hawley annexation of Alderon and the 4 lots on the west end of the Gloryland Addition on 30 December, 2025 at the Senior Citizen Center at 7 P.M. 

Anyone desiring to be a candidate for office of Hawley Township must file his or her name with the township clerk beginning December 30, 2025, and closing January 13, 2026, at 5 p.m. Offices expiring are: One, three-year term for Supervisor and One- two-year term for Town Clerk. Both to be elected at the annual Town election on the second Tuesday of March.
